We are so excited to be working with a fast growth creative studios who are looking for a standalone Head of People to be an expert in HR and Culture to join their business based in their studios near Kings Cross.
This amazing opportunity will work closely with the senior teams on recruitment, payroll and the implementation of a new HR system and will have a big focus on the value add projects around engagement, growth, culture and talent development.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
- Work closely with the senior team to manage all recruitment
- Producing offer letters and contracts
- Working closely with senior team to organise inductions and local training programs
- Ensure compliance with the regulations around visas and overseas workers
- Advise and guide on all HR policies issues including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and dismissals
- Advise on employment law where required
- Work with the board to advise on changes to the people strategy to support all strategic initiatives including new launches, acquisitions, disposals, technologies or wider market changes
- Assist with planning of company days and socials
This is an incredibly fast-moving environment with ever-changing focuses and last minute decisions so taking this in your stride is paramount. Having the ability and confidence to present your own ideas to the CEO and the gravitas to work with the business to drive these initiatives is an exciting aspect of this role.
You will focus not only on the HR strategy but also being the driving force in maintaining a collaborative culture, highlighting rising stars in the business and developing existing talent.
The ideal candidate will be CIPD level 5 qualified, come from a standalone role within a creative industry and be commercially minded.
