The Handle team are currently partnering with a pioneering tech organisation of c200 people at an exciting point of their business maturity. Having recently hired their first Chief People Officer, they are now building out a team to develop the People and Culture strategy including this Head of People position

The business already has a strong HR Operational foundation, so the new Head of People role will be focused on the strategic partnering piece, closely working with the new CPO to ensure they have truly world-class people operations. They want to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion practices that set industry standards, L&D that genuinely fosters growth and HR processes that enable people from all business areas and walks of life to love their work, allowing them to flourish in their roles!

The role itself is a broad one with lots to get stuck into, a true generalist remit and with that 'building' aspect so although highly strategic you'll also need to roll up your sleeves sometimes!

What you'll bring to the role:


Ideal candidates will already be operating as a senior, strategic HR generalist, you'll have a solid foundation of experience and looking to step up, build something from an early stage

Global experience would be useful but not essential

It would be great for a candidate yo have a blend of experience across sme/ scale-up environment and lager corporate structures - you'll know what good looks like, as well as being up for the occasional chaos of a scale-up!

You'll have high level business partnering skills and be used to working at c-suite level, influencing challenging stakeholders

The role is based in central London, and they have a hybrid working model
