We're seeking an experienced Interim People Operations Lead to join a fast-growing global media organisation at a pivotal moment in their journey. With 800+ employees across the UK, Europe, Asia and the US, the business is preparing for its next chapter, and this role will play a critical part in shaping an efficient, scalable approach to people Ops.
This isn't business as usual.This is a hands-on, project-driven role where you'll get under the hood of how things currently work, identify opportunities for improvement, and design impactful, strategic solutions that elevate the employee experience globally.
Key priorities include:
- Conducting an audit and ensuring compliance processes for casual workers, contractors, and agency staff
- Supporting a policy renewal project and creating a centralised policy tracker across UK entities
- Embedding compliance training into onboarding, including sexual harassment awareness
- Streamlining HR processes (including exploring AI solutions to reduce admin workload)
- Reviewing the HRIS tech stack and evaluating new tools
- Mapping the employee journey to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across all locations
What you'll bring:
- A track record in People Ops / HR Enablement, with strong project management skills
- Experience in global, multi-entity businesses (ideally group structures)
- A strategic mindset with the ability to cut through ambiguity
- Comfort working autonomously while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders
- Energy, creativity, and a sleeves-rolled-up approach
You will be based in their London HQ where they typically work 3 days in, 2 from home - for this role open to more flexibility, with much of the work being behind the scenes.
Open to discussion on day rate or FTC salary.
