Handle are delighted to be working with a London based production company in their search for a part time finance manager, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to return to work on a part time basis.
The roles and responsibilities:
· Manage VAT returns and annual company tax returns for main production company and associated film SPVs (during development - until handover to the production accountant; and after delivery - once the production accountant has handed back);
· Create quarterly Management Reports;
· Assist with tracking company expenditure vs. agreed upon annual budget;
· Reconcile company card transactions and help define a sustainable business practice;
· Process invoices for payment and payroll;
· Issuing invoices and monitoring their timely payment;
· Assisting the principals in cashflow generation and tracking;
· Track company development costs and ensure proper reimbursement from associated projects once they enter production;
· Knowledge of Xero, Dext, and Equals a plus;
This is a perfect opportunity for someone with previous experience at Finance Manager level either looking to return to work or cut down to part time, the hours will be two days a week, one from the office and one from home. Previous experience in an entertainment or production company would be ideal but isn't a necessity!
