Handle Recruitment are currently working with a hugely successful global events brand, who are looking for a Payroll and Accounts Payable Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, global team where your contributions directly support financial operations across multiple countries and entities. As a key member of the Finance team, you'll work closely with vendors, HR, and Finance teams, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance at every step.
Key Responsibilities include -
Support end-to-end payroll processing across assigned countries in partnership with managed service vendors
Review payroll instructions and reports, resolving discrepancies before final payment
Gather, verify, and prepare payroll data, including hires, leavers, variable pay, and employee updates
Assist with audits, compliance checks, and year-end reporting
Support payroll account reconciliations and Finance during month-end close
Assist with payroll funding, approvals, and payment confirmations
Ensure AP transactions are accurately recorded in the corporate ledger
Set up new vendors, process invoices, and manage payments in line with agreed terms
Candidate requirements -
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2 years + payroll administration experience, ideally in a multi-country or outsourced environment.
Experience with global payroll vendors (Vistra, ActivPay, etc.) preferred.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles, payroll processes, and tax compliance.
Strong Excel skills; comfortable with HRIS and finance systems.
