Handle Recruitment are currently working with a hugely successful global events brand, who are looking for a Payroll and Accounts Payable Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, global team where your contributions directly support financial operations across multiple countries and entities. As a key member of the Finance team, you'll work closely with vendors, HR, and Finance teams, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance at every step.
Key Responsibilities include -
- Support end-to-end payroll processing across assigned countries in partnership with managed service vendors
- Review payroll instructions and reports, resolving discrepancies before final payment
- Gather, verify, and prepare payroll data, including hires, leavers, variable pay, and employee updates
- Assist with audits, compliance checks, and year-end reporting
- Support payroll account reconciliations and Finance during month-end close
- Assist with payroll funding, approvals, and payment confirmations
- Ensure AP transactions are accurately recorded in the corporate ledger
- Set up new vendors, process invoices, and manage payments in line with agreed terms
Candidate requirements -
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years + payroll administration experience, ideally in a multi-country or outsourced environment.
- Experience with global payroll vendors (Vistra, ActivPay, etc.) preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, payroll processes, and tax compliance.
- Strong Excel skills; comfortable with HRIS and finance systems.
