We're working with a major global media brand, renowned for producing premium factual and unscripted content worldwide. Their London-based team is seeking a Production Manager for an initial 2 month contract.

The role will involve overseeing the delivery & financial management of up to 100+ hours of programming. Working closely with the Line Producer and Executive Producers, this individual will ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to high-class editorial and technical standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Manager with a of min 2 years' experience in factual, unscripted TV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the execution of productions from development through to delivery
  • Reviewing and tracking third party budgets, schedules, cost reports, and scripts
  • Liaising with production partners worldwide to finalise deliverables, pay schedules, milestones, and materials lists
  • Overseeing and managing the delivery of all programme assets
  • Maintaining accurate production records, tracking systems, and internal reports
  • Communicating production timelines and updates to internal teams
  • Supporting the troubleshooting of production challenges and collaborate with Business Affairs and Legal to mitigate risk
  • Advise production partners on technical specifications, credits, and content delivery standards
  • Manage payments against cashflow milestones and approved deliverables
  • Champion health & safety standards, rights clearances, and compliance procedures


Key Requirements:

  • Strong production management experience within factual television
  • A thorough understanding of the end-to-end production workflows
  • Demonstrable experience reviewing and managing production budgets and cost reports
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders and time zones
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Keynote for Mac, and production systems such as Aspera
  • Good understanding of industry standards around risk assessment, health & safety, and production insurance
