Handle are proud to partner with a global leader in media & entertainment, renowned for producing and distributing some of the world's most loved TV & Film content.

We're keen to speak with immediately available candidates with recent Rights Management experience.

The role is due to start ASAP- therefore, applicants must be available to start, with no more than two weeks' notice.

Covering sick leave- the contract will run for approximately 2-3 months.

Based in the heart of Soho, 3 days per week/ 2 days remote.

Duties involved:

  • Setting up and maintaining deals in the rights management system.
  • Reviewing all deals entered into the rights management system to update any out of date information before the contracts go to signature; liaising with the legal team to ensure that any issues that arise are flagged in a timely manner.
  • Working on system upgrades and maintaining rights management system.
  • Liaising with Legal and the Content, IT, and material servicing departments to set up, maintain and catalogue items on the rights management system for new acquisitions.
  • Reviewing existing catalogue items.
  • Undertaking special projects for the wider team in a variety of cross functional areas.
  • Liaising with the content team to keep abreast of content being reviewed and what is in the pipeline for acquisition.
  • Liaising with all departments to ensure information flows back and forth, keeping everyone informed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least five years previous experience within a Rights Management team or equivalent
  • Superior organisational, communication and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as fantastic attention to detail.
  • Experience of a variety of database systems.
  • Collaborative and flexible team player with professional demeanour and diplomatic skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain both internal and external relationships.
  • Must be familiar with the TV global landscape and be able to keep up to date with trends within the industry.
  • Genuine passion and respect for entertainment content.
  • A can-do attitude and an ambition to progress within the international TV and content industry.
  • Ability to work with high level senior managers.
  • Must be fluent in English. Additional languages desirable.
