Handle Recruitment are working alongside a Leading Television and Entertainment Company, in recruiting a Treasury Accounts Assistant. The role will sit within a dynamic accounting function and report directly into the Management Accountant and Financial Controller. As well as working on transactions and treasury accounting procedures you will also assist closely with various month end and analytical duties.

The overall responsibility will be assisting in the smooth running of the Accounts Department, including but not limited to:

  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Provision of assistance to FP&A team with preparation of forecasting
  • Cash flow forecasting and subsequent modelling
  • Provision of daily cash balances reporting
  • Month end reporting and ad hoc reporting duties
  • Cash analysis as and when required
  • Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger processing
  • Company Expenses

We are looking for someone who is competent, self-motivated & trustworthy and someone who also has a bright and enthusiastic personality. You will be of graduate calibre, ideally in a numerical subject (Accounting Finance / Maths for example) and have a desire to study for a professional qualification (ACA /ACCA/ CIMA, ACT) Full study support is provided.

The successful candidate will have had practical experience in an accounting function and office environment - Media/Entertainment industry is extremely desirable but not essential.
