We are looking for an exceptional Senior International Visual & Interface Designer to join a talented global design team based in London (this is not a remote role).
Working at the intersection of design, technology and culture, the team brings a global perspective to the way digital experiences are imagined and created. The focus is on making products feel intuitive, thoughtful and beautifully designed for people everywhere, taking into account the different languages, writing systems and cultural nuances that shape how people interact with technology.
This is an opportunity for a designer who combines outstanding visual and interface design skills with a genuine passion for international design. We are particularly interested in someone who understands the relationship between language, typography, culture and design, and who enjoys finding creative ways to make digital experiences work seamlessly across different markets.
Rather than focusing on a single product or roadmap, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects, partnering with different teams and bringing fresh thinking, specialist knowledge and a strong design perspective to each one. You'll be someone who enjoys exploring new challenges, questioning the familiar and finding opportunities to make things better.
Key qualifications:
Significant experience in a senior visual, interface or digital product design role, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing the quality, breadth and craft of your work.
Proven experience designing digital products and interfaces for different languages, writing systems or international markets.
A strong understanding of how language, culture and writing systems influence the way people experience and interact with digital products.
Excellent knowledge of typography and typographic systems, with an appreciation of the challenges and opportunities involved in designing for different scripts.
Experience designing for complex scripts and right-to-left interfaces, ideally including Arabic.
An exceptional eye for visual detail, with a strong appreciation of composition, colour, hierarchy, consistency and aesthetics.
A good understanding of contemporary interface design principles, interaction patterns and digital design conventions across platforms.
The ability to bring ideas to life through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes.
Confidence working across several projects at once, moving comfortably between different challenges and areas of focus.
A naturally curious and proactive approach, with the confidence to navigate ambiguity, explore new ideas and develop thoughtful design solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain your thinking, influence others and build trusted relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
A collaborative outlook, enjoying the exchange of ideas, contributing to creative critique and using feedback to make the work stronger.
Fluency in English and a second language, particularly Arabic, Turkish or another language relevant to markets in Europe or Latin America.
A particular interest in typography, type design or font development would be a real advantage.
You'll work closely with talented designers and multidisciplinary teams across the organisation, sharing your expertise and bringing a fresh perspective to a wide range of creative challenges.
At the heart of the role is a passion for the visual quality of digital experiences. You'll have a strong instinct for design, an appreciation of the subtleties of typography, colour and composition, and the ability to turn complex linguistic, cultural and design challenges into clear, elegant and engaging interfaces.
You'll be comfortable stepping into unfamiliar projects, getting to the heart of a problem and finding ways to move the work forward. Equally, you'll enjoy working collaboratively, sharing ideas and helping others see new possibilities. You should be confident making decisions, communicating a clear design direction and maintaining a high standard of craft, even when working to tight deadlines.
Additional requirements:
