A leading global media and entertainment organisation is seeking an experienced Scheduler to join its Network Origination Services team. This role focuses on break optimisation and presentation scheduling across a portfolio of Sports and Entertainment channels in the UK, Nordics, and wider EMEA.
This is a contract role start asap and running for an initial 6 months.
It is a hybrid role so candidates must be based in London.
Key responsibilities:
Build and manage mid-term and daily programme schedules.
Optimise commercial airtime and live sports breaks.
Ensure on-air look and branding consistency.
Support live sport broadcasts, including contingency planning.
React quickly to schedule changes and ensure reliable broadcast delivery.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience in on-air/commercial scheduling (not entry-level).
Knowledge of scheduling systems (e.g. What's On).
Strong understanding of the broadcast chain and relevant regulations (OfCom, BLM, CSA).
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure; knowledge of sports/live broadcasting is a plus.
