Senior Business Development Manager - Event Agency

Our client, a leading global events agency delivering award winning live, virtual and hybrid events is looking for an ambitious Senior Business Development Manager responsible for developing and nurturing strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients. Working closely with the Director of Business Development & Growth, this role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional networking skills and a deep understanding of the event industry.


As a priority you will:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key markets - US, Europe and UK
  • Proactively drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities
  • Develop and present compelling proposals to potential new and existing clients
  • Engaging in industry events, conducting research, arranging strategic meetings, and generating new prospects
  • Responsible for building and managing a robust pipeline of new business & forecasted opportunities and nurture client relationships for long-term growth
  • Nurture existing and new client relationships
  • Work with the Operations and Productions team on event planning, and ensuring client satisfaction

To be successful, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of working in the events industry and account management as well as client relationship management
  • Experience in acquiring and securing new business opportunities and growing the business with existing clients
  • Success in securing and managing high-value partnerships, with a history of delivering significant business outcomes
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills to drive sustainable business development and account growth
  • Results-driven mindset with robust sales acumen, capable of meeting ambitious targets and driving revenue growth
