Business Manager - Music Finance

Are you a qualified accountant with a passion for the music and entertainment industry? This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected and growing finance team supporting some of the most exciting businesses within the sector.

Our client is looking for an experienced Business Manager to join their specialist Music Finance Division. Working as part of an established team, you will provide accounting support across a portfolio of music, touring, and label clients, while playing a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting.

Based within the London head office function, this role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and creative industry alongside experienced professionals, with excellent opportunities for career development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing year-end financial statements for Limited Companies, LLPs, and Sole Traders (All music clients)
  • Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts
  • Reviewing and analysing financial information across music, tour, and label-related accounting
  • Preparing month-end group reporting files
  • Consolidating management cash flow forecasts
  • Managing head office accounting, including actuals, budgets, and forecasts
  • Working closely with bookkeepers and trainee accountants to ensure compliance requirements and deadlines are achieved
  • Supporting the Head of Department with ad hoc projects and reporting requirements

About You:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
  • Previous experience within an accountancy practice or similar environment within music
  • 2+ years' experience working within a music industry accounting firm, entertainment sector, or related field (essential)
  • Strong experience in accounts preparation
  • Excellent Excel skills and strong attention to detail
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
  • A genuine interest in the music and entertainment industry
