International TV/Film business are recruiting for a Data Engineer to join their London based team on an initial 12 month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies, build your technical expertise, and contribute to data solutions that drive business decisions across the organisation.

This role would suit someone in the early stages of their data engineering career who is eager to learn, grow and work with a modern cloud-based data platform.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building and maintaining data pipelines and integrations
  • Transforming and preparing data for reporting and analytics
  • Supporting data quality, validation and workflow monitoring
  • Working with experienced Data Engineers in an Agile environment
  • Developing your skills across cloud data platforms and modern engineering practices

We're looking for someone with:

  • Strong SQL skills are essential
  • Experience working with data pipelines and data transformation
  • Exposure to Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as S3 and Lambda
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI or similar reporting tools
  • Python experience (or a willingness to develop these skills)
