We're looking for a career Synopsis Writer (Polish) to join a world-leading TV and streaming platform. You'll bring solid knowledge of the European and UK media markets, along with experience writing short-form or synopsis copy and a real passion for film and television.

This role is perfect if you love great stories and content, enjoy playing with language, and thrives in collaborative creative environments. You'll be a skilled Synopsis Writer with a strong understanding of the media and entertainment world in the UK and Poland and broader European regions.

You'll need to share examples of short-form or synopsis writing that show off your flair and ability to hook readers.

Please note! For this role you must be fluent in Polish and English - if that isn't you unfortunately, we won't be able to consider your application for this role.

Day-to-Day:

  • Write synopses about Polish CCE movies and TV shows in English. You'll cover everything from the latest reality TV show to a high-budget historical drama series or pitch-perfect rom com.
  • Create and adapt product copy (e.g., collection names, rows, emails, push notifications) in both English and Polish, while reviewing Polish content for quality and local relevance.
  • Collaborate with an Editorial Writer to align with briefs, applying editorial standards to produce accurate, inclusive, and engaging synopses tailored to diverse audiences.

Requirements:

  • Full high-level working proficiency in English - must meet this requirement!
  • Full native proficiency in Polish - must meet this requirement!
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in Polish and English.
  • Experience writing synopses for streamers and broadcasters. We are looking for a career Synopsis writer!
