We are partnering with a leading international business within the Entertainment & Sports industry to recruit a commercially focused Senior FP&A Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a key role in driving business performance, influencing strategic decision-making, and supporting continued international growth.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will own the financial planning cycle, deliver meaningful commercial insights, and provide high-quality financial analysis across a dynamic and fast-paced business.
The Role
Financial Planning and Analysis
Own the full FP&A cycle including annual budgets, semi-annual reforecasts, long-range plans, and monthly management reporting
Produce management reporting packs for executive leadership including P&L analysis, bridges, new business pipeline, and KPI tracking
Drive variance analysis against budget / reforecast and prior year, with clear narrative for senior stakeholders
Ensure consistent, accurate, and timely reporting into group finance and executive leadership, including the management of dashboards
Improve forecast reliability through better processes, stakeholder alignment, and data-driven modelling
Commercial and Strategic Partnering
Serve as primary finance business partner to CAA International business leaders, providing insight and strategic support
Partner with senior leadership and commercial teams on new deal pipeline progress and client- level profitability analysis
Serve as the CAA International lead for compensation expense data and analytics, providing critical metrics and strategic insights to senior leadership and business partners
Support M&A evaluation and post-acquisition performance management where required
Competencies
Commercially-minded with the ability to connect financial analysis to business strategy
Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
High attention to detail; rigorous in modelling and reporting accuracy
Strong written communication skills - able to produce clear, well-structured memos, reports, and briefing documents for senior audiences
Comfortable operating with ambiguity and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative with a track record of building trusted relationships with non-finance stakeholders
Ability to oversee the maintenance and enhancement of reporting infrastructure, dashboards, and analytical tools (including via platforms such as Power BI, Workday, SAP, and Adaptive)
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
15+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, business analytics, or related finance functions
Demonstrated ability to consolidate and analyse complex data across multiple systems and organisational structures
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities
Executive-level communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Ability to manage commercially-sensitive and highly-confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills
