An exciting opportunity has arisen with a global leader in the entertainment and streaming industry for an experienced Senior Media Engineer / Media Production Suite (MPS) Support & Deployment Specialist to join their Live Production & Editorial Support team.

This role sits within a specialist Post Production Services function that supports world-class film, television and live productions. You'll play a key role in ensuring editorial teams have access to reliable technology, efficient workflows and first-class technical support, helping deliver high-quality content on a global scale.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced production environments, enjoys solving complex technical challenges and is passionate about supporting creative teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support for editorial and post-production teams, quickly diagnosing and resolving issues to minimise disruption to live productions.
  • Monitor automated media workflows, file transfers and system health, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact productions.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for a range of editorial and media management tools, supporting media ingest, asset management, conform workflows, VFX pulls and other post-production processes.
  • Gather feedback from production teams to identify workflow improvements and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of internal tools and services.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and regional Production Technology teams to troubleshoot issues, improve workflows and support future platform development.
  • Deliver an exceptional support experience, balancing technical expertise with outstanding stakeholder management and customer service.

About You

  • 3+ years' experience supporting post-production, media operations or production technology within a studio, broadcaster, vendor or production environment.
  • Strong understanding of production and post-production workflows, including editorial, dailies, conforms, VFX, review and approval processes.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, Baselight, Colorfront OSD, Autodesk Flow Capture (formerly ShotGrid), PIX and Aspera.
  • Comfortable working with command line tools, APIs and common data formats including JSON, XML and CSV.
  • Familiarity with industry file standards such as ALE, EDL, MHL/ASC-MHL and FDL, along with local, SAN and cloud-based storage environments.
  • Experience as a Digital Imaging Technician (DIT) or within on-set production technology is highly desirable and would provide a strong foundation for supporting editorial and post-production workflows.
  • A calm, proactive problem solver who can work effectively under pressure and build strong relationships with technical and creative stakeholders.
  • Flexible to provide occasional out-of-hours support, including evenings or weekends, in line with global production requirements.
